
LEGEND OF THE MARY D. HUME
If you like to walk, you can head down the hill from Hilltop House and you will come to Gold Beach Harbor and witness the Mary D. Hume! The famous boat was built in Gold Beach in 1881. But sadly it sunk. This wondrful steam boat is a landmark treasure in the Gold Beach harbor. Rumors have it that she is haunted by a fishermen named Jack C.
